Ammar Al Rawahi, a seasoned professional with over 16 years of expertise in the space sector, astronomy, and technology, currently assumes the role of Chief Commercial Officer at SatMENA. Before joining SatMENA, Ammar served as the Space Projects Consultant at MTCIT and held the position of Director of Space Technologies at ETCO Space. His commitment to driving innovation and positive change in the space industry is exemplified by his founding membership and two-year tenure as Chairman of the Oman Astronomical Society since 2008. A dynamic leader, Ammar successfully led over 80 professionals in astronomy, operations, and technology during his tenure as the Director of Astronomical Affairs Department, managed multimillion-dollar projects and implemented cutting-edge technology in observatories. Ammar holds a qualification in New Space Economy from MIT and earned Distinction in his MBA from the University of Wolverhampton.
