H.E Eng Said Al Maalawi is the Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technology, Sultanate of Oman.Prior to joining the Government, H.E led the turnaround program of Oman Drydock Company, a major Middle East shipyard. His Excellency has also worked in PDO, OXY, Sohar Aluminum, Oman Oil and Oman Tank Terminal Company.He has served in several boards as Chairman or Director. This list includes Sohar Aluminum, Vale Oman, Oman India Fertilizer Company, Oman Gas Company, Majan Ferrochrome Oman Aluminum Rolling Company and Sohar Industrial Port. Currently he is the Chief of board of Director for Civil Aviation Authority, Oman Air, Oman Airports, and the Chairman for Hafeet Rails, H.E has extensive experience in the Oil and Gas, Metals, Manufacturing, and Investment Industries.H.E holds a degree in Engineering from the Imperial College, London.
