Josef “Joe” Bogosian is vice president, Business Development, for Boeing Satellite Systems International (BSSI). In this role, he leads a team working with customers to provide satellite connectivity solutions and ensures alignment of Boeing’s capabilities with long-term market needs. Prior to his current position, Bogosian was senior manager for Global Sales and Marketing at Boeing Phantom Works Space Systems, where he engaged customers, performed market and competitive assessments, and developed solutions for emerging small satellite applications. Bogosian worked in close collaboration with Boeing subsidiary Millennium Space Systems to create solutions that leveraged the most capable technology from across the Boeing portfolio. Since joining Boeing in 2008, he has held roles in systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and satellite operations. His experience spans mission areas including military satellite communications; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; missile defense; and space situational awareness. Bogosian holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan, a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
