Mark Rigolle is a highly experienced executive in the satellite communications industry and has led ABS as our Chief Executive Officer since April 2024. He brings deep expertise across satellite and connectivity sectors, gained through various executive, non-executive, advisory, and founder positions across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Mark has guided ABS in driving innovation and collaboration with partners to expand reach, enhance network performance, and advance connectivity solutions that underpin economic and social transformation across the Middle East and beyond.His distinguished career includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at SES. He then became CEO of O3b Networks, a MEO constellation focused on high-throughput connectivity. He also co-founded Kacific, a regional GEO satellite operator aimed at bridging the digital divide in underserved areas. He has also had executive leadership roles at LeoSat as CEO, KLEO Connect as CEO and COO of Rivada Space Networks.Mark holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Leuven, Belgium, and is fluent in English, French, and Dutch. Under his leadership at ABS (Agility Beyond Space), the company successfully completed its redomiciliation to the Dubai Development Authority in October 2025, marking a pivotal milestone in our strategic transformation and reinforcing our commitment to the UAE as a global hub for both innovation and growth.Mark has renewed our focus on agility, strategic partnerships, and partner-centric solutions amid a rapidly evolving satellite industry. His vision emphasizes sustainable growth by leveraging the company’s high-quality Ka-band spectrum assets, fostering a culture defined by agility, and contributing to the Middle East’s economic development through advanced, reliable satellite-enabled connectivity for government, enterprise, and community sectors.
