Michele Scataglini is Associate fellow at Said Business School at the University of Oxford, where he teaches and engages with world-class executives and faculty, maintaining foresight on how markets, technologies, and business models are evolving.Michele is co-founder of the Oxford Space Initiative, led by Prof Marc Ventresca, a social sciences initiative within the Said Business School, researching the emergence of the global space sector, in terms of space governance, innovation and sustainability. Michele has led impact research on the evolution of the space ecosystems both on a national and regional level within the UK. He is also co-leading a learning initiative on strategic agility at the European Space Agency – ESA ESOC.Michele is also Partner at Silicon Foundry, a leading innovation advisory firm headquartered in San Francisco.. In his role at Silicon Foundry, Michele advises government agencies both in the MENA region and globally on the design and implementation of large-scale innovation programs, working at the intersection of emerging technologies, public–private partnerships, and new market formation.He has 20+ years of international professional experience working with clients such as the European Commission, World Bank, and national and regional agencies to design and implement large-scale economic development and innovation initiatives.
