Nick Lewis is Senior Director, Solutions Engineering at BlackSky, where he focuses on customer engagement and delivering technical solutions to customer challenges. Nick also served as a Director of Technical Product Manager for Analytics products at BlackSky where he was responsible for shaping analytic products and establishing commercial products.
Before joining BlackSky in 2023, Nick was the Product Manager at GA-CCRi. In this capacity, Nick led and managed technical teams in the development of software platform and data science capabilities to deliver, operate, and maintain an AI/ML Computer Vision program.
Nick was an Assistant Professor of Remote Sensing at United States Military Academy at West Point for three years and served seven years as a Space Operations Officer in the US Army and is recognized as subject matter expert for space-based capabilities by operational and strategic planners.
Nick received a Bachelor of Science degree in geospatial information systems from United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Arts degree in geography from University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Science degree in space studies from American Public University System.
