Salim Al Alawi is an executive with more than 30 years of experience in operation, strategic planning, project management and business development in different telecommunication fields. Salim started with Oman Telecommunication Company (Omantel) as Satellite Ground Station Engineer and then rose to several positions. Salim has experience as well in Ministry of Transport and Communications as Telecommunications Project manager, Telecom Operation Manager in Haya Water and then he participated in establishment of Oman Broadband Company and held positions of Operation General Manager and Project General Manager respectively. Since 2018 he has been the Executive Director of Space Communication Technologies who leading the establishment of the company. To which the Omani communications satellite project was assigned. Salim BSc. In Electrical and Electronics, Diploma in Telecommunication Management Studies and EMBA in Space Business.
