Etlaq Spaceport is Oman’s first commercial spaceport, strategically located at 18° latitude to enable efficient and sustainable access to space. Designed to support micro to heavy launch vehicles, suborbital missions, and experimental campaigns, Etlaq provides access to equatorial, polar, and sun-synchronous orbits. The spaceport achieved a regional milestone with the Middle East’s first suborbital-class launch in December 2024, marking a new era for Oman’s and the region’s space ambitions.
